Chepang Kilangu / Arbi / Colocasia Fry

 

 Ingredients

 Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tbs

Red Chilli Powder + Coriander Powder - 2 tbs

Cheppankizhangu / Arbi - 250 gms

Oil to fry 

Salt for taste

If needed, can add gram floor, Rice floor little, Corn floor little.

 

Cooking method :

 1. Wash colocasia well to remove the dirt/mud.

2.  Keep it in the cooker and take it after one whistle.

3. Leave until cool, remove the skin.

4. Cut into thin pieces 

5. Keep a Dosa pan n heat it. 

6. Mix chilli powder, Turmeric power, salt (If needed other floors) with little water. Then apply it all the colocasia well and soak it for a while.

7. Spray oil in the pan, keep the Colocasia pieces one after another. Add little oil again.

8. Turn to other side one by one and fry both sides. Like raw banana fry.

Now it is ready to serve.
