Moong Dal Sabji

Ingredients :

1. Moong Dal : 1 cup (Dal measurement cup)
2. Ginger Garlic Paste : 1.5 tsp
3. Onion - 1
4. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
4. Mustard Seeds : 1/2 tsp
5. Urad Dal : 1/2 tsp
6. Red chilli :  1 (cut into 3 pieces)
7. Salt - 1/4 tsp
8. Oil - 1 tsp
9. Curry Leaves : 1 twig


Preparation :

1. Wash the dal, add 1.5 tumbler water, turmeric powder, boil it in a cooker, leave it for 3 whistle.
2. Mash it well
3. Heat the oil in a pan add mustard seeds, let it break, add urad dal, chilli  fry it until urad dal gets brown, add cut onion, curry leaves fry it well until onion becomes brown.
4. Add now the dal into this fry, add salt , ginger garlic paste, boil it for 3-4 mins. Remove from heat.

You can use this for Rice as well Chapati. Mainly it is for Chapati.
